Spellbound has been composed and painted during the Covid-19 pandemic in February 2021. The lighter color pallet and the praying pose is meant to illustrate my longing for a hopeful future. The man in the painting is looking up, mesmerized by a thought, a prayer, or something he sees in the distance. The specific meaning to this piece, as with all of my work, is left for the viewer to define.
