Scott Hutchison’s paintings of aggressive gnashing teeth. This series of paintings were conceived as a way to create a non-traditional self portrait. I did not want my art to be a realistic copy of a face, but a multitude of angles and playful compositions of a less flattering aspect of my face. This series started as an experiment and a study, and also led me to begin animating in oils.
